Mount Moses and the monastery were part of an amazing trip! Going at sunset instead of the usual sunrise was a great choice. The lunch on top of the mountain was excellent, offering an exceptional mountain view. The guides were also fantastic, especially during their explanation of the monastery.

The vehicle departs sharply at 8:00 AM from Asala. Your detailed timings and packing list are shared in the trip WhatsApp group once you book.

Hamata CanyonFirst stop — about half an hour hiking, and the story of the single fig tree.
Salama CanyonAround 20 minutes exploring one of the most colourful canyons in Nuweiba.
White Canyon & Khudra OasisA hike to Khudra Spring — hours exploring the oasis, lunch and rest.
Closed Canyon & Mushroom’s RockA last stop before heading back to Dahab.

We plan the day around the weather and group pace, so timings can shift slightly on the day.

Good to know

  • Hamata and the Closed Canyon are narrow, tight squeezes: they need a good fitness level and a body that fits through. They are optional: if they are not for you, you can wait in the car while the group goes in
  • Moderate level — not recommended for pregnant travellers or those with back problems or serious medical conditions
  • Minimum age 10; under 16 must travel with an adult
  • Pets are not allowed
  • Mostly no phone signal, except on the road and some spots at Khudra Oasis

Booking, payment and cancellation

How booking works

  • Full payment when you book — no deposits
  • Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the trip: choose free credit in your Cadence Seekers wallet, a free move to another date, or a refund minus bank/card fees (usually 1.5–3.5%). Bookings stay open until 24 hours before
  • Max 8 participants. If the stock is filled, the backorder option at checkout puts you on the waiting list

Refunds

  • Less than 72 hours before the trip, cancellations, late arrivals and no-shows can’t be refunded
  • If we cancel or postpone (weather, safety, too few participants or any reason on our side), you choose: a full refund with no deductions, wallet credit, or another date or trip
  • If no spot opens for you on the waiting list, you get a full refund with no deductions, or wallet credit
On the trails. Safety comes first: don’t pass the guides, wait for others at the trail stages, keep an average pace, and always keep an eye on who’s in front of and behind you. Our aim is simple: enjoy nature, stay safe and stick together.
