Ramy was probably the best AirBnb host we ever had! He was super helpful and very responsive the whole time. He really wanted our stay to be great. He answered every question we had super quickly.We loved the apartment and felt very much at home right from the beginning. The picture are 100% accurate. Same for Dahab itself. We were really happy with Ramy's place. The apartment looked just like the photos and was within a 10 minute walk to the main boardwalk/tourist area where you had a wide range of restaurants and dive shops at your disposal. There was a small grocery store across the main road for any essentials you may need and fresh fruit and veg shops down the main road. The kitchen had everything you could need, including the essentials like oil, spices, salt, etc. It was so nice having a washer in the unit and things air-dried quickly.The wifi speed was pretty good at about 20 to 30 download and 2 upload. Despite the low upload speed, I had no issues having videos calls via Google Meet. Ramy is very responsive and was kind enough to help on several requests. We did not land in the airport until past midnight but he organized a driver to pick us up and someone to be at the accommodation to let us in. This place was absolutely lovely. A five minute walk to the “mamsha” (beach boardwalk), it was super accessible while being just far enough away to be blissfully peaceful at night. Easily walkable to “lighthouse” and “assala” areas for great restaurants, and a five minute taxi ride “mashraba”. All appliances in working order; furnishings light, modern and simple. Ramy was super responsive when the wifi inevitably acted up (it’s Dahab); with his help it was back online in minutes. I particularly note that I felt 100% safe here as a woman traveling solo. Ramy and Khaled were very friendly, helpful and quick to respond before and during my stay. The place is exactly what i wanted and the description/photos were the same as what i witnessed. Quiet area, shops and restaurants within walking distance, perfect location for what i required, great for nomads who work remotely. Super nice and clean place. The decoration is very beautiful. Ramy is a very responsive host and he is always there to help me if I need anything. The apartment is in a very good location, close to lighthouse and assala market. But also in a very quiet neighborhood.
