Trips

One simple rule for every trip (day, overnight and private): you pay in full when you book, with no deposits. You can cancel for free up to 72 hours before the trip. Less than 72 hours before the trip, bookings are non-refundable, and that includes late arrivals and no-shows. You can still book until 24 hours before the trip.

7 Days Across Sinai is the only exception: free cancellation up to 14 days before departure, because we book your hotels and camps well ahead.

A private trip’s price covers the whole group, so if some of your group can’t make it, it still runs at the same price.

If you cancel in time, choose one: (1) credit in your Cadence Seekers wallet for the full amount, to use on any future trip or stay; (2) move to another date of the same trip; or (3) a refund to your original payment method, minus the bank/card fees, which are never returned to us. These fees are usually 1.5–3.5% of the amount, depending on your card and country. Credit and date changes are always free.

If we cancel or postpone a trip (too few participants, weather, safety or any other reason), you choose: a full refund of everything you paid, with no deductions and no fees (we cover them), credit in your wallet, or another date or trip.

Booked a trip on a requested date? If we can’t confirm it within 24 hours, you get a full refund or can switch to another date.

Stays

Your stay is confirmed the moment you book, and we never cancel a confirmed stay.

If you cancel: 50% of the booking is non-refundable from the moment you book, whenever and for whatever reason you cancel. For the other 50%, choose credit in your Cadence Seekers wallet, new dates, or a refund minus the bank/card fees.

Long stays (28+ nights): the 50% reservation deposit is kept: if you cancel it is not refunded, and if you stay it becomes your refundable security deposit.

Yes! If a trip, for example one with 8 participants, is fully booked when you try to check out, the backorder option will appear. By placing a backorder, you’ll be automatically added to the waiting list.

We keep you on the waiting list until 24 hours before the trip. If a spot opens within this timeframe, we’ll notify you as soon as possible.

If you’re unable to join the trip, you can choose to request a refund—with transaction fees deducted based on your payment method—or keep your booking amount as credit in your Cadence Seekers wallet for future trips.

Trips are paid in full when you book, as soon as a trip is announced and up to 24 hours before it starts. There are no deposits on trips.

Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the trip (14 days before departure for 7 Days Across Sinai). After the free cancellation window, bookings are non-refundable.

Stays are confirmed as soon as they are paid; if cancelled, 50% is refunded.

Yes, many of them. Every trip page shows its minimum age:

• 6+: NDD, Saladin's Castle & Fjord Bay, Galuloom and our free community hikes
• 10+: Canyoning Oasis and Mousa & Monastery
• 12+: 4X4 Spinning and our overnight trips
• 14+: 7 Days Across Sinai
• 16+: Colored Wishwashi

Anyone under 16 must travel with a parent or an adult guardian.

Travellers of any age and ability are welcome: each trip page shows the distance and level, and some trips include long walks, carrying your own day bag and squeezing through narrow canyons. Tell us about any specific needs on WhatsApp and we'll help you pick the right trip.

We keep our groups small on purpose: never more than 10 people. That way you get real time with your guide and actually get to know your fellow travellers.

Our 4x4 vehicles take up to 8 people, so many of our trips run with a maximum of 8. The exact group size is on each trip page.

Coming solo? You are very welcome. On group trips everyone books at the normal price, solo or not. If fewer people join a date, the group shares the trip price. We tell you 3 days before, and you choose: pay the shared price on the day, move to another date, or get a full refund. Each trip page shows the shared price for every group size.

Multi-day journeys run with a minimum of 8 travellers. If a date doesn't reach 8, the booked group can cover the empty seats and keep the date as their own private journey, or choose a full refund, credit in their Cadence Seekers wallet, or a move to another scheduled date. Any trip can also run privately, on any date and for any group size, as long as the group covers the cost.

Absolutely! We organize private trips tailored to your preferred dates and group size—even if it’s just for one person. Payment is based on the full group size, so for example, if the vehicle holds 8 participants at €25 per person, a private booking for one person would be €200 (the full group price).

We also sometimes offer discounts of 10-20% for smaller groups of fewer than 4 participants, as these trips may involve less food consumption or other reduced costs.

Private trips are confirmed as soon as they are paid. Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the trip; the price covers the whole group, so the trip runs at the same price even if some of your group drop out.

Please note that while we can’t offer reimbursement for any unused portions of the trip, we’re happy to help you sign off at specific points if necessary.

We kindly ask that you review the itinerary carefully before booking since we won’t be able to make changes for individual travelers.

We just wanted to give you a heads up that for most of our trips, we have a specific point of gathering/departing, and dropping off.

Of course, we understand that sometimes you may need to be dropped off at a specific location. Just let us know ahead of time so that we can make sure to accommodate your request. Please keep in mind though that we won’t be able to wait for you if you decide to get dropped off somewhere other than our usual destination.

• Stays under a month: 50% non-refundable deposit to block your dates. The remaining balance plus a one-night refundable security deposit is paid on arrival.
• Stays of a month or more: we require a 50% non-refundable reservation deposit (50% of one month’s rent) to block your dates. The whole first month is payable on arrival, and the 50% you paid earlier remains with us as your refundable security deposit.

Your dates are blocked only after we receive the deposit.

The security deposit may be partly or fully kept for: property damage or missing items, extra cleaning or leaving the place messy, late check-out (after 10:00), or late rent on long stays.

We also require an ID/passport copy, and a marriage contract copy for Egyptian/Arab couples.

Yes. To hold your dates we take a non-refundable deposit: 50% of the total stay for stays under a month, or 50% of one month’s rent for stays of a month or more. If you cancel, the deposit is not refunded.

Need to change your dates? Message us as early as possible and we will do our best to move your booking to other free nights.

Yes, two nights minimum.

Early departure means the remaining nights aren’t refunded. Your security deposit (one night for short stays, or your 50% deposit on monthly stays) is still refunded, minus any deductions for damage, missing items, extra cleaning or unpaid rent.

Yes. Stay 7 nights or more and get 15% off; stay 28 nights or more and get 35% off. The discount is applied automatically when you pick your dates and book on our website.

Yes, we welcome up to two dogs, and three of any other smaller pets are also accepted, with an additional fee of €15 for the entire duration of the stay.

All our units are equipped with essential amenities like a fridge, washing machine, stove and ACs. (except this one due to space) Additionally, some units feature extra amenities such as a crib, yard, rooftop access, microwave, air fryers and more. We are also open to negotiating the inclusion of additional amenities based on your preferences. 

Upon arrival, through self checking in key boxes or one of our co-hosts will provide you with regular updates regarding your arrival time and meeting points beforehand. Additionally, we offer flexible check-in and check-out times, accommodating both early and late arrivals/departures based on the schedule of the previous or next guests who are already occupying the property.

Yes, in Dahab, there are nearby attractions showcasing some of the world's most beautiful seas, coral reefs, and mountains. Visitors can enjoy various climbing and water activities in these stunning natural surroundings. Additionally, the North Coast offers one of the most appealing sandy beaches, perfect for relaxation and leisure.
