Two days, two different Sinais. Day one: four canyons and a palm oasis. Day two: stone tombs older than the pyramids, a mountain shaped like a dragon’s head and a dune you’ll want to run down. In between, a night at Khudra Oasis under more stars than you’ve ever seen. Small group, local Bedouin guides. Yalla bena!
Why “Mystery”?
Because most people who come to Sinai never hear of these places. Ask around in Dahab about Nawamis or Dragon Head and watch the blank faces. That’s exactly why we go.
Day one: the canyons
The night
We camp for the night at Khudra Oasis: dinner under the palms and a sky with no light pollution at all. Breakfast in the morning, then off to day two.
Day two: Nawamis, Dragon Head & the Big Dune
We plan both days around the weather and the group’s pace. Full timings and the packing list are shared in the trip WhatsApp group once you book.

Good to know
- Hamata and the Closed Canyon are narrow, tight squeezes: they need a good fitness level and a body that fits through. They are optional: if they are not for you, you can wait in the car while the group goes in
- Two hiking days back to back: come rested. Not recommended for pregnant travellers or those with back problems or serious medical conditions
- Minimum age 10; under 16 must travel with an adult
- Pets are not allowed
- Mostly no phone signal, except on the road and some spots at Khudra Oasis

Booking, payment and cancellation
How booking works
- Full payment is required to book — there’s no deposit option for group trips
- Cancel up to 7 days before the trip for wallet credit, a new date, or a refund minus card fees (usually 1.5–3.5%); bookings stay open until 24 hours before
- 10% early-bird discount for bookings made at least 7 days before the trip
- Max 8 participants. If the stock is filled, the backorder option at checkout puts you on the waiting list
Refunds
- Within 7 days of the trip your payment is already committed to the camp, meals and transport, so cancellations, late arrivals and no-shows can’t be refunded
- Transfer fees are deducted from any refund
- You’re refunded in full if we postpone or cancel — for weather, too few participants, or other reasons on our side
- If you can’t be placed off the waitlist, you’re refunded (transfer fees apply) or credited towards a later trip
