Farasha/Twilat Hike Route Guide
Duration & Difficulty:
This route takes approximately 2 hours for small groups. It’s a relatively easy hike featuring a fixed climbing rope. The total trekking distance is about 5.3 km.
Starting Point:

Look for the entrance next to the artificial glass tree. Avoid the right lane and slight right near the acacia tree, as it leads to a hand-built Bedouin house. Instead, slightly veer left and continue following the marked route towards the first obstacle.
Obstacle 1:

At this point, there is a small ledge on the left side visible in the photo. You can carefully step up along this edge to climb over the first obstacle. Be cautious of plant thorns after that—they are sharp, potentially poisonous, and can penetrate shoes easily.
Obstacle 2:

This obstacle is easy to pass on the left side, which acts like stairs.
Obstacle 3 (Rope Climb):

Climb using the fixed rope. Use both legs to push left and right while pulling yourself up. Spread your legs apart to avoid hitting the sides.
Path Junction (Two Ways):

You will find the first fork here—take the right path.
Next Junction:

Take the left path (insert photo).
Third Route Choice:

Choose between the right and left path depending on your available time. For a shorter hike, take the left route.
Obstacle 4:

Upper Right Path:

Take the upper right path.
Right Entrance Notice:

Stop and take the right entrance here rather than going straight ahead; it’s much easier.
Confusing Point:

Upon reaching this point, follow the rock cairns towards the middle path between the right and left, which leads above the left cliff.
Viewpoint:

Reach a high point with a beautiful viewpoint easily accessible.
Important Note:
Avoid active cafes like Planet near the end, as they may ask for fees. Instead, take the right path toward an abandoned cafe to descend. Follow the visible route from the viewpoint until you find the road again.
