Nawamis, the Dragon Head, the Big Daiona: names that sound strange until you have walked between them.
The long way
Ten of us hiked about eighteen kilometres from the Nawamis to the Dragon Head and on from the Big Daiona to the road, and four kept going to finish about twenty-two kilometres in the heart of South Sinai.
More than numbers
The distance was impressive, but what stayed with us was the feeling: the same passion in different people, good energy all day and a place that makes you want to keep walking.
