Eight of us left Dahab early for Nuweiba and one of our favourite days in the desert: oasis, rock and canyon, all in one go.
Oasis and rock
First stop was the green of Hodra Oasis, then Mushroom Rock standing alone on the sand, and plenty of photos at both.
Into the canyons
White Canyon, Salama, Hamata and finally the Closed Canyon: narrow passages, short climbs and walls that change colour every few steps.
Lunch at Hodra
We finished with a Bedouin lunch back at Hodra, eight people who had spent the day helping each other over rocks and now had plenty to talk about.
