A long, beautiful day that started with breakfast in an oasis and ended with dinner on an organic farm, with one of Sinai's great canyons in between.
Hodra and Mushroom Rock
We had breakfast at Hodra Oasis while the morning was still cool, then stopped at Mushroom Rock for the photos everyone wants.
The Colored Canyon to Wishwashi
The heart of the day was the hike through the big Colored Canyon, its walls striped red, gold and purple, all the way to the spring of Wishwashi hidden between the rocks.
Dinner at the farm
On the way home we stopped at Dy3et Younes for a fully organic dinner, and Belal introduced us to the language of horses. Nobody expected that to be a highlight, and it was.
