We went back to the canyons of Nuweiba for a day we thought we already knew by heart, and came home with something none of us expected: a sand dune we had never seen before.
Canyon after canyon
Hamata, Salama, the White Canyon and the Closed Canyon, one after another, squeezing through narrow walls and climbing out into the light, with stops at Mushroom Rock and Khudra Oasis in between.
The hidden dune
Then, off the usual track, a brand-new dune: untouched, rare and so quiet that we even met a small horned viper resting in the sand. We kept our distance, took our photos and let it be.
Why we do it
Laughing, singing, sharing meals and chasing the next corner of the canyon. That is Cadence Seekers at its best: doing what we love, together.
